4.0 out of 5 stars Nazz Rule!
The other reviewer here doesn't know what he's talkin' about! This is a great collection of previously unreleased Mod-psych dementia from the Nazz. Far from being simple leftovers, a lot of these songs are as good or even beter than their released material or released versions! If you bought the recent Nazz double CD Anthology and want more, check out this with wigged-out...

1.0 out of 5 stars Another Big Disappointment from Todd
Well, I like Todd Rundgren as well as the next feller, but this warmed-over leavins doesn't add much to my appreciation for Todd or the Nazz, which in it's day was a truly mind-bending band, touring all over the US of A and UK, and bringing together the stellar talents of massive chopster drummmeister Thom Mooney, who went on to play with just about everybody including...

Far from being simple leftovers, a lot of these songs are as good or even beter than their released material or released versions! If you bought the recent Nazz double CD Anthology and want more, check out this with wigged-out tunes like "Sydney's Lunchbox," "Featherbedding Lover" and "Christopher Columbus" to name a few. Also check out the excellent "From Philadelphia" double set, which has more Nazz outtakes and 5 amazing 1966 songs from Rungren's pre-Nazz band Woody's Truck Shop.

Well, I like Todd Rundgren as well as the next feller, but this warmed-over leavins doesn't add much to my appreciation for Todd or the Nazz, which in it's day was a truly mind-bending band, touring all over the US of A and UK, and bringing together the stellar talents of massive chopster drummmeister Thom Mooney, who went on to play with just about everybody including John Hiatt, Roger McGuinn, and Rita Coolidge, as well as Disney dropout Carson, Plumber Stewkey...you get the idea; these guys had a great band, and the best of that is distilled into Nazz and Nazz Nazz; number three is flabby and this one is just pitiful, with distortion, weak out-takes, and songs that didn't make the cut. Do yourselves a favor and go for numbers one and two, you can't go wrong!
