I've been using laptops for years...Dells, Sony's and IBMs (now Leveno)...and I can honestly say this ASUS F8sN-C1 is under priced (I paid $1336 shipped from a different vendor but even at $1500 its under prices IMHO). It is by far the best laptop I have ever used, much less owned.

It has an amazing collection of quality components for the price and more importantly they all work in harmony to produce stunning performance. The build quality is great and the warranty (2-years parts and labor with free shipping both ways AND 1-year of accidental damage protection) is class leading.

Weaknesses are few, but it, like all laptops are a balancing act and so it has a few:

- Battery life is poor - I get around 2 hours in moderate use. But this a machine comes with a very powerful CPU, Graphics card and big Western Digital 320Gb SATA2 hard drive....those components suck power...in return for very strong performance.

- Weak speakers - no excuses here, the speakers are poorly positioned and sound weak. I use headphones when I play Call of Duty 4 and GTA, BUT heck I can play COD4, GTA and many other modern games at high quality on this laptop!!

- Fingerprint magnet - the glossy body attracts fingerprints like a hooker at a bachelor party. Heck they include 2 wipes in the box for the body and the screen.

But that's it....this is a great laptop!
