I ordered this product to personalize it with my daughter's picture as it was a Photo Mug. Although when I received it this was not the case, it came with set backgrounds and monogram letters. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan so returning the item is not possible, so I am stuck with it now. If this was the case it needed to be put in the items description it is not a personalize able photo mug, it is one you can put letters on these set backgrounds.

I am very happy with this cup and key chain. Everything is as described. You have to unscrew the top to put the picture in the mug. I had no problems getting a picture in the mug. I used 8 1/2 x 11 photo paper and printed a picture from my computer(cardstock would probably work too). I used one of the backgrounds they provided as a template to cut out the photo. Great way to personalize a gift. Wonderful value for the money.

This item is different than what is pictured. While you can certainly put a photo in it, it is sent with backgrounds and sticker letters to personalize in that manner. It does not come with a template to cut out a photo. It will take work to get it to be the photo mug it is described as.
