This dolly is well built and sturdy. It's a no frills, get the job done type of product and it got the job done. I only give it four stars because there are better, fancier dollies out there- but you're also going to pay more for them.

The first dolly I received had a defective caster. It would bind when pivoting. (The 3 other casters pivoted freely.) Amazon promptly exchanged the dolly (good service).

The second dolly had the same problem. 3 good casters, one bad one. Amazon paid for a replacement caster obtained from the company that distributes the dollies.

I used the dolly intermittently for approximately 3 months with no problems. Tomorrow I'm moving my household. I tested the dolly 20 minutes ago, another caster has seized.

I disassembled a bad caster and found the bearing races were made from metal that is too soft. A race will splay and allow bearings to ride up on one another.

I would rate the dolly zero stars if possible. It's unserviceable.

It is a simple, well-built product that saved a lot of wear and tear on my back when I was rearranging furniture in my house. What more can you say?

This dolly is reasonably priced and certainly did the job. My complaint is that the rubber wheels had imperfections - little nubs that made for very poor, non-smooth rolling. I used a utility knife to cut off, smooth out the nubs and that made it much better. So good item for the price, but I am sure that one could find a better quality dolly by paying more.

I was looking for a good sturdy dolly on which to move furniture, when needed. This looked & sounded good & the price was, I thought, quite reasonable. I especially liked that it was made of hardwood...something that seems a rarity anymore & needful for handling heavy pieces. It is designed to handle up to 1000 lbs which sounded Great!! Thinking it would be up to my projected tasks but as usually happens, assembly would be required, I was both surprised & delighted that it was not only delivered quickly, but came all completely assembled with nary a screw to turn. I simply took it out of the box & it was good to go. The wheels are sturdy & of good quality & it goes smoothly over the floor. With my new carpeting being installed next month, this will definitely be key to make all the moving of furnishings around a whole lot easier.

I especially like the carpeting on the ends which surely protects both furnishings & walls during any moving project.

Our older heavy TV & huge cabinet have needed to be replaced, but dreaded needing to move it out & move another one in. Now that task is not as daunting to deal with.

This dolly doesn't take up much space when storing either, when we all seem to be short on storage space, especially for items that aren't used frequently. It's a good size & easy to handle & to store.

This is an item I'd suggest is good to purchase & keep on hand for future needs. Our grown children live in the same state...& this is a great item to share with them when they too are moving heavy furniture around in their homes...something this simple makes it a whole lot easier on the back (& those toes that always seem to get crunched under furniture). Wish I'd gotten this a long time ago!

This makes a great foundation for a soap box car. All you need is the main basic body to place upon it, secure it, then paint it. Rolls pretty good with the wheels.

I bought the Jet WDC-3018 Hardwood dolly to place my 100 lb amplifier on it in my livingroom. It's perfect for moving it around when not in use. It's built strong and the wheels are excellent. The carpeted ends protect my amp and by a stroke of luck, the color even matches my living room rug. Very pleased with purchase.

Just as it says. A bit heavier than I expected, but came fully assembled and ready to work.
