Finding narrow-pitch metric dies in most common die sets is difficult, at least in the 14 x 1.5 size. This one is affordable and does the job.

Good tool for the price. Bought to clean up treads on wheel lugs after tire shop installed wrong lug nuts. Worked perfectly.

Clean rethreading rust and old LocTite for the wheel bearing bolts are required for the torque setting. Save my $$ bolt replacement approx. $7.00 each of 8 bolts!! Great for repair hex die in the future if the bolts not in the stock. Love it..

Needed to get one of these to repair some tire studs.

I worked great. The quality seems to be excellent.

I doubt I'll ever use it again but it paid for itself with that one repair.

Used this thing to smooth out the threads on a new ball joint. Worked great for me. No regrets at all.

On a "dad fixes daughter's car" project, the threads on the tie-rod end were really galled after removing the tie-rod. Boy, did this little gem clean them up quickly. I could twist on the new tie-rod by hand. Now, if I can just remember where I put it the next time I have to do this same project. :-))
