It was shipped earlier then i thought and was handled with great care, it comes out a lot cheaper this way then buying another $1,500 laptop.
Well worth the price and great quality, there wasn't even smudges on the screen like never been touched.

I am very pleased with the Laptop LCD Screen I ordered from Amazon. The price was good and it wasn't too hard to install. If I need another one in the future I would buy it from Amazon. It sure beats buying a new laptop.

My Compaq Presario C500 had a cracked screen, because someone (me) stepped on it and cracked it. I found a great YouTube video showing someone replacing a laptop screen--not this exact model, but close enough--and I followed their steps. You've got to remove your current screen to read the part numbers to make sure the one you order is compatible. This one's part number differed from the part number that originally came in my laptop, but the internet assured me they were interchangeable.

So I ordered this one, and it's great! Perfect condition. Came faster than advertised. Thoroughly wrapped in bubble wrap so it arrived in perfect condition. And best of all, when I installed it in my laptop, it worked like a charm. So clean and pretty. Replacing the screen makes the laptop itself feel brand new.

I'm not really a hardware guy, but for anyone considering trying this themselves: it is doable. Take your time and be careful, but it can be done, and it works. Much cheaper to spend under $100 for a new LCD screen than to buy a whole new laptop.
