Pedro Infante was born in Mexico in 1917, the singer, musician and actor's musical success came from his performances of mariachi and ranchera music. In a prolific career he recorded over 300 songs, the first of which was released in 1943. Amongst his most popular recordings are "Amorcito Corazón", "Corazón" and "Maldita Sea Mi Suerte". There are some beautiful songs on this album and Pedro Infante had an equally beautiful voice. However, the sound quality isn't the best which is to be expected, I guess. At times, Pedro's voice sounds very muffled and sounds like you're listening to an AM radio station.

Despite that drawback, this collection is worth having. My favorites are "Amorcito Corazon," "Cien Anos" (sorry, couldn't get the ~ to work. Without it, the title takes on quite a different meaning), "Tu Enamorado," and "Besame Morenita."

Great CD, sometimes I myself like hearing these song without the enhancements.... It reminds me of my childhood and listening to Dad play these after a hard days work. The collection of songs...... SUPERB!!!
Another great CD is "Mis Primer Canciones" (Pedro Infante)
