My husband looked everywhere for tongs that were long enough to grill with and not burn his hand. These are absolutely perfect. A MUST for any griller or person who has to reach into an oven or even for flipping fried items. We bought 2 and use them all the time.

I was looking for long handled tongs to use with hot pottery right out of the kiln. These work great. I could not find any with long enough handles locally. Thanks for the great product.

I have been looking locally for these tongs, to no avail! I use them in my pond and needed a longer tong that would grip. These are perfect! I was so pleased to have found them, I bought 2. They were originally used for cooking ears of corn on top of the stove and have multiple uses. Love it!

Long scissor-type tongs for grilling can be hard to find, so I was looking forward to receiving these. But I will have to bend the gripping surface so the ends come together properly when in use. In addition, the gaps in the handles are so wide that my fingers can slip through. They are usable, but poor quality, and not what I was hoping for.

Excellent scissor tongs! Just what my husband wanted for our BBQ! Very sturdy and solid. Not flimsy at all. We were very pleased with this product.

I can hardly use the tongs as they are so "stiff" as far as opening and closing it almost takes me both hands. Then, they do not pick up the food as they are "slick" with almost no rough edge to hold onto the food. If you are lucky enough to get the food in the tongs, the food will slip out of the tongs before you get it to the plate.

I have gone back to using my grandmother's tongs which do work but are just a little short. Since I am 73 years old these tongs have to be about 50 years old and are better. I do like the length of the handles on these tongs but they are useless in trying to take something out of my convection oven.

I made the standard annual New Year's resolution to get my fat lump of self into better shape this year. But I don't have a fortune to spend on personal trainers, gym dandies or those fancy home exercise swing sets.

I want my fitness results like I want my bacon cheeseburgers -- fast, cheap and with questionable scientific merit supporting them. Also, delivered directly to my La-Z-Boy and fed to me in delicious bite-sized chunks. So I improvised.

A lot of people worried about body fat content buy fancy calipers to pinch and measure themselves with. Nonsense. This set of sturdy no-slip tongs works just as well, for a fraction of the cost.

Of course, after a couple of days of workouts, I found that the tongs have other uses, too. You can use them to grab brownies while they're still warm and gooey without getting your hands dirty, or to dip into a bag of potato chips grease-free. I like to dip them in melted butter and use them for popcorn.

So that resolution is pretty much down the toilet. But this is the TASTIEST new year in recent memory. Pass the Cracker Jacks, please.

I have difficulty bending to pick up dropped items and the 15" tongs work very well. In fact they are much more useful than the "grabbers" usually sold for this purpose. My husband uses them to put logs in the fireplace and avoid splinters!

First, the tongs arrived wonky. The ends didn't line up right and so they didn't grip well. Perhaps I should have just sent them back, but I figured, it's "Hard chrome plated steel" so I should easily be able to bend them into the correct aligned configuration. They broke right away. Steel? What grade?

Second, overall, they're not ergonomic. I couldn't use them comfortably.

You're paying $10 for a $1 product.

Tool is flimsy but works as advertised. Openings in the tongs are large so some food will fall through the middle. Metal is light enough that the ends can be bent to suit smaller foods.
