When teaching Bible studies on prayer, I have often looked for a tool to help those new to prayer answer the question of "Where do I begin"? This book is a wonderful starting point in that no matter what page you start on, you will always find an inspirational message and a place to begin your prayer time. I often find myself studying 3 or 4 sections at one time.

Bob really knows and understands how to reach our husbands. The way the book is laid out, it really seems to reach every man who reads it. It is wonderful the way Bob has written this book. It helps the men in our lives to open up and start sharing. I highly recommend this book for all the special men in our lives.

I was given this book as a gift from my father-in-law after a retreat. I have read many religious and philophical books over the years, and find that finishing them (or making time to read them consistently) is a big problem. This book is perfect!

It literally only takes 15 minutes (sometimes less, sometimes slightly more) to revitalize your faith, listen to God's word and its application to you (without being preachy), and see what actual grace God is trying to share with you.

I highly recommend this both to the "novice" religious reader, as well as the "well-read" Christian. Either way, there is a lot God has to tell you through His own words and through the words of Bob Barnes.

My husband spends every morning at 5:30 in prayer and Bible reading before starting the rest of his day. He was looking for a devotional that was neither too heavy nor too simple. 15 Minutes Alone with God for Men, let's him tailor each chapter to that's days specific need and time limit. A perfect gift for that man whose life is too busy for God to be left out.

I found this book to be very helpful in regaining daily focus. I purchased three additional books to pass out to friends who were struggling with their relationship with God. We have formed a small group and have discussed the benefits of having this encouraging book. Unlike other devotional type books, this one has no schedule or dated material, and will be able to be used again and again with random selection pertaining to the need of the day. I highly recommend this book to any man seeking to enhance his daily walk with God.

A good book to use as your daily devotion. Each section has a short scripture reading, a page or two of comments, then a section suggesting actions you can take relating to the topic. This is a great way to see what the bible has to say about the promises and expectations that God has for men.

I bought this book for an unsaved male acquaintance and I read briefly through it. Great topics and it goes along with the Word of God, I think is a great gift for that person who is searching for a deeper meaning on real life subjects and want to see how that goes along with the Word of God.

Today is good friday and I recall a chapter in this book that has changed my life. I picked up this book in 1996 after a accident when I almost lost my life. As I read it, I began to realize that God has something for me other than just try and live a good life and go to church on Sunday

It has tought me what it means to be an leader and stand in the fires of daily life knowing what is truly right and wrong.

Through this book, the scripitures are easily applied to everyday life. With it the confusing strugle og what God was telling me became clear. I can truly say that I have peace and become a better husband, father, brother, and business leader because of it.

I guess I've never read a bad Bible study, but this one is especially good. I start every morning with this book, my Bible, and coffee. The daily sections vary widely by topic so everyday is interesting. The author has a story for each section to highlight the Scriptures being studied for the day. Whether you are a new believer or 50yr veteran, this book will open your eyes and heart each day. It is a wonderful start to your day. There is also a women's version. My wife and I highly recommend both.

I was looking for something my husband could use for prayer time in the morning, and he absolutely loves this book! He wants to give it as a gift to some relatives at Christmas as well.
