Okay so to me, donuts make the world go round, hahaha... This book features 150 recipes all about donuts both baked in the oven or fried. For me I prefer baked, honestly because I am afraid of scalding oil but I had no clue you could "bake" donuts until now. There are so many yummy sounding recipes in here and most of them are pretty simple and basic. The book also includes recipes for glazes, fillings and other toppings. Everything you need to get started making donuts at home is in this book so yes it is for beginners as well as experts since it features so many different recipes. I can't wait to try them out with my kids and see if we can save some money since donuts are getting expensive! Now the only thing that is disappointing about this book is that there are not really pictures, just a few in the middle, but I think it is pretty easy to imagine what these donuts should look like.

This book arrived quickly, as described online. I bought a donut machine; so I needed a cookbook for recipes. Many donut recipes to choose from. I would recommend this book and this seller.

As many of my readers knows I have really gotten into making donuts in the past year. Who knew there were so many delicious flavors and that they are not only fried but can be baked as well?

This book is filled with more donut creations then I could ever imagine. There are several sections in the book including Raised Donuts, Cake Donuts, Baked Donuts, Holiday Donuts, One-Bite Donuts, Specialty Donuts, and Fresh Fillings. The beginning has a section on making donuts step by step along with step by step color photographs. The recipes are easy to follow and the donuts I've already made are delicious!

In addition to all of the recipe there are several color photographs of the featured donuts. Looking through the book the top 5 I have on my list to make are: Campfire S'mores Donuts, Holiday Eggnog Donuts, Christmas Swirl Donuts, Sour Cream Blackberry Donuts, and Pretzel Twist Donuts.

Last week I went to a book club brunch and I made the Pumpkin Donuts with Autumn Spiced Sugar. They were amazing! The donuts had a warm pumpkin flavor and the spiced sugar they were rolled in was delicious.

If you like making donuts as much as I do you need to have this book! With this book you'll never need to enter a donut shop and spent way too much money on over-priced donuts again.

Donuts have gotten a bad rap in this calorie and health conscious world, but author George Geary brings them into the 21st century with a delightful array of recipes to create your own at home. Good basic information about using the right equipment and techniques for the best results, and Geary includes the classics such as jelly-filled and raised glazed donuts. But the majority of his recipes are eclectic, exotic and just plain mouth-watering. Did you know that pistachios, green tea, espresso and roasted peanuts are just some of the creative ingredients you can use in making baked or fried donuts? Easy to understand recipe directions that can help transform your kitchen into your very own donut factory. Donuts may not be as high on the health scale as bran muffins, but as the author so succinctly sums it up - "they are more fun to eat!"

Go buy the top pot donut cookbook instead. It's my opinion, but after buying both, the top pot one is better and had the donut recipes I was looking for. Much of this book has baked donuts which I did not care about. It also has some strange twists (no pun intended) such as caramel apple fritters... I just wanted normal apple fritters and they did not turn out anything like that and no suggestions how to make modifications.

We love this cook book/ donut recipes. We made about 6 different fonts so far and all of them were great. And there's was still alot of them err want to try. I would try all 150 but with 150 different donuts you'll at least find 20 to 50 you want to try. I think it's worth the buy. And for the price you'll be happy
