I used my first book so often it is falling apart. I am ordering my second to replace it. Recipes are easy to understand and easy to prepare. Delicious!

This is one of the best cookbooks you will ever find for desert squares. It is the last one you will ever have to purchase!

When I was a little girl I was often in awe of my friend's mothers who could bake beautiful and tasty treats for bake sales and birthday parties. All the treats in my childhood came from grocery and department stores. I regarded sweet making with a kind of awe reserved for movie stars. I had no idea it was so easy. I had no idea that making a variety of beautiful squares for a brunch, or a staff meeting would not have to take hours on end. When I opened this book out of interest I was astounded how many recipes inside sounded delicious,but truly easy to make. These recipes are tried and true, this book and its innards have stood the test of time and in an age when so many people have not had the time or will to learn to make something from scratch, this book gives an easy introduction. Now I am that woman who brings the awesome treats to the potluck and people are excited when it's my turn to provide the nibbles at book club because everything I have made from this little book is gold. If you want to be "that" mom, or are hosting an event with finger foods - why not make a beautiful arrangement of dessert squares? Be aware these recipes are not calories conscious, they are full fat, all love goodness.
