Here is the Real Deal about this package,
By TB (United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 150lbs Crossbow with Accessories + Quiver + Comes Assembled (Misc.)
I didn't have a lot of experience with crossbows until I purchased this package.
This process has taught me a lot and I've done a ton of research. I've had mine for 3 weeks. First of all, The XB in general is well built, feels, very heavy-duty and not too flemsy. The limbs are pretty strong (so far), the string feels OK. However after 4 shots, one of the strings that raps around the edge to make a loop that goes around the limb started to unravel for no apparent reason. I do wax the string and oil the arrow tray. I was able to put a couple drops of glue to keep it in tack (I also ordered another string with the package as they suggested). The quiver (pouch that holds arrows) is pretty solid but because its made of plastic be care because with putting too much preasure on it because it could become loose or break on you. The bow is pretty powerful and although I don't know from experience (see below) my peers say it has enough power to take down deer. I would suggest putting some type of strap on it for carrying because it gets heavy and it akward to hold and carry. HERE ARE THE NEGATIVES The scope is a very cheap plastic scope for a small rifle (like a 22). This is a big issue because I could not get it to lign up with the target. It would adjust enough with the bullseye (even while adjusting the wind and elevation). This is because a rifle scope is use to seeing 50-200 yards or more. With this long distance you don't only have to adjust the scope a minute amount to see a big adjustment down range. Since a crossbow's range is only between 10-30 yards, it needs to have more adjustment capability... well it doesn't so this is a problem.. You want your crosshairs on the target! Also, the standard rail (where the scope mounts) is a 'Weaver' style. This is a that is similar to a 22 rifle (so I was told) and all the crossbow scopes that I tried to replace it with didn't have this style rail so they wouldn't fit. I was able to find a Red Dot scope with a Remfire rail system... This fits. The laser is not legal in a lot of states so watch out for that... You may not be able to use it. I purchased 16" arrows with field tips and broadheads. This is the worse part for me. I sighted in my XB with the broadheads that it came with and was consistent with my shots or at least in the red (within 6-8"). I shot at the same deer 3 times (twice on one day @ 25 yards, once on another day @ 15yards) and missed. When I found my arrows each shot was about 2 feet high so I didn't even touch him. I racked my brain on the issue. I then went to Bass Pro and had my field tips and broadheads weighed. My field tips (that came with arrows) were 150gr, my broadheads were 115gr so my broadheads were flying higher that fieldtips. The range wouldn't let me practice with broadheads (their policy). This was very upsetting to me when I found this out because I would have thought that they would have at least sold me the same weight tips and BH, especially since I spoke to him over 1/2 hr. I couldn't find 115gr field tips and I couldn't find 150gr broadheads so I had to buy all new. Note, don't buy arrows smaller than 16" or you won't be able to put a broadhead on it. Also, If you try and use 100gr field tips/broadheads on 16" arrow, it may be too light and you wont get your crosshairs anywhere near your target. My suggestion is to buy the 20" arrows. Lastly, the bow is very loud when fired. I put some string leeches on and it helped a bit but not much. Hopefully this information will help someone that's interested in buying. Knowing this stuff will save you some time and money.

Piece of Junk, and worse customer service,

I made a real mistake when I ordered this crossbow. This is my first cross bow, and will probably be my last if this weapon is any idicator of the industry. Within 4 bolts going down range, the string began to unravel. The scope that came with the weapon does not adjust. And so far as the quality is concerned, you would be better off taping an empty toilet paper roll to the top to peer through. No two bolts fire the same. Although the fletching, weight, size, etc appears to be the same, the result is still the same. Once I identified each bolt and made necessary adjustments to aim, I can stick in the same hole each time. However, this always had me aiming 16 to 18 inches out of the "10" ring at 25 yards. And as I mentioned earlier, no matter where you set the scope the end result was still the same. Lastly about the weapon, the laser that comes with it is a joke!!! In a pitch black room one could use this laser for a pointer, maybe. This was still the result after using fresh batteries.
Now to customer service. This is absolutely the worse I have ever experienced. EVER!! After experiencing the above mentioned problems, I decided to call the supplier. In turn I realized these folks knew less about crossbows than I, and far less than anyone else I know. When I tried to order replacment parts (string and bolts) I was told no. They could offer no assistence at all. Archery is a terrific sport, however if you want to experience this aspect, save your money until you can purchase a quality weapon from a knowledgable supplier. Please, dont make the same mistake I did!!

The crossbow is well made and did come assembled. I would highly recommend a rope crossbow cocker to make it easier to cock the bow.
