Unless you have a fiberglass bathtub this is the safety bar to get. It installs easily and has handles at two levels: the top handle is just the right height when stepping out of the bathtub and the lower one helps you to get from a sitting position to a standing position safely. Unlike most safety bars, this one actually looks good.

I recently received my tub grab bar. It is absolutely perfect to meet my needs. I was extremely pleased with ease of use, design and simple installation. I could not have found anything better including the cost. My bathroom is small and the grab bar doesn't use much space at all.

Wrong picture with wrong item !!
The grab bar shown in the picture is the 12 inch grab bar not the 16 inch grab bar I wanted the 12 inch and ordered mine by the picture and got the 16 inch and had to send it back. Read more

do not purchase if you own an old claw tub
I purchased this item for and old claw tub, it will not hold tight because the wall of the tub is too thin.

it was too small for the width of my tub
The bathtub safety bar looked good and would have been fine except it was not adquate in size to fit the width of our bathtub. The specifications were off by 1/8 of an inch.
