Yup...guess I'm partial. This compilation of all Vic's hits thru the years are bellissimo!

Even if you've never Damone sing before, this would be the best place to begin! And if you have heard him.....you'll listen repeadedly. The tone is romantic - vibrant - and as usual, his choice of romantic favorites, excellent!

FOR THOSE OF US BORN IN HIS ERA, WELL WORTH THE MONEY TO BUY THIS CD OF SOME OF HIS GREATEST HITS INCLUDING "AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER", SO DON'T MISS THE CHANCE TO OWN THIS WONDERFUL ALBUM.

Vic's voice is silky smooth; I had forgotten after all these years until watching "An Affair to Remember" on TV and wondering who was singing the theme song. I play this over and over in my car when I am stressed. It calms me down, it puts me in a better mood, and it makes me appreciate the gifted artists in our recent past.

This is the ultimate recording of that song, and I have directed the show before on stage, and know whereof I speak. I KNOW voices, and this is one of those rare occasions where the song and voice fit together hand in glove. The rest of the album is pretty good, too, but the My Fair Lady knocks it out of the park. (His performance on my old Kismet record rocks, too) Too bad he wasn't 20 years younger, there never would have been a Frank Sinatra.

A very good album of classics done by a classy guy, not to mention one of the best voices ever to perform.
