Simple to season and a very stable wok for gas, electric, and smooth surface cooktops. Easy to clean and has made Asian cooking within the reach of the novice homecook. The Wok Shop in San Francisco is an excellent source for this product and accessories.

I seasoned the wok as instructed, it was pretty easy. The wok interior is not very even, and it is hard to stir fry, as most the chinese food is require stir fry. when my parents brown the pork leg for the traditional pork leg stew, and pork leg become very dark, and it was a lot darker compare to when we use the stainless steel wok to brown the meat. Very high quality item. The outside is coated with a glass type glaze which makes it perfect for my glass top stove. The inside is quality steel fashioned old world style. This thing is heavy duty. If you have an electric Wok, toss it out and get you one of these.

The wok works very well, the wok factory sent directions for use before they sent the wok so I would actually read them. They were clear and easy to understand. The wok has high sides that make it easy to stir vigorously without slopping stuff out of the wok. I've used it on my stove and on my grill and have had no problems, it transfers heat really well, no cold or hot spots.

I ordered this wok a few days ago. Not only did it arrive faster than I expected, but it was also much larger than I expected and came with complimentary recipes, chopsticks and a rice scoop! I am extremely impressed with the Wok Shop's quality and attention to the customer. The wok seems to be of high quality. It is also very large and quite attractive. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to purchase a wok. One thing I was very impressed with was the fact that the Wok Shop contacted me via e-mail to give me instructions on how to season my wok, and detailed instructions (on how to season the wok) were also included.
