More About the Author

Rabbi Raphael Afilalo lives in Montreal (Quebec).
His research and publications have predominantly been in the area of Jewish mysticism and Kabbalah. His books are of the very rare Kabbalah books in English, with letters of approbation of important rabbinical authorities as the Rishon Letsion (Chief Rabbi of Israel), and others.

He has been lecturing and giving conferences on the subject of Kabbalah, in Canada, United States, Israel and Europe. Realizing the need to explain and clarify Zohar and Kabbalah terms and concepts, he has published a 'Kabbalah Dictionary' and a 'Kabbalah Glossary' which translate and explain more than 700 terms and concepts of the Kabbalah. With his new book; '160 Questions on the Kabbalah' he answers the most frequently asked questions during these lectures given in North America and Europe.

His main objectives are to provide a genuine picture of the true Kabbalah, show its inner dimension and beauty, and make these often complex notions clearly understandable to the reader.

This book answers all the questions on the Kabbalah, from the basics as what is Kabbalah? to the more advanced questions on the particular concepts of the Kabbalah. It is well written and the glossary at the end of the book is very usefull.
