5.0 out of 5 stars Finest portrait film ever made
This film produces very fine grain and has excellent color characteristics. It is 35mm film, so don't get upset like one reviewer did when she ordered the wrong size.

If you like people tinted red and/or green with purple fringes, do not buy this film, buy Fuji or Kodak Gold and get it processed at your local drug store. If you want crisp but natural colors...

1.0 out of 5 stars Calumet Photo STINKS Beware Amazon sells you their product
I bought some film from Amazon for my daughter as a gift, I ordered the wrong film 120 instead of 35mm. As soon as my daughter saw the box she knew it was wrong. I tried to exchange the un-opened box of film and they said NO!!!!!!!!!!
And Amazon could not help either. BEWARE Amazon says Returns are easy as one two three.....BS

If you want crisp but natural colors with smooth grain and outstanding sharpness and definition, use this film and have it processed at a pro lab.

I get good results stopped down a bit. This film is very sharp and your camera lens may not be at f/2.8. Take full advantage of the sharpness by using a smaller f-stop. When shooting on this film I usually shoot around f/2.8 on a Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L despite the fast aperture on that lens. With other lenses (such as a Voigtlander 90mm APO Lanthar) I stop it down further, usually in the f/5.6 or smaller range. This is just good camera tradecraft when shooting a sharp film.

The color rendition is perfect under flash or sunshine, but if I shoot under fluorescent light I use the appropriate FL filter. In any case, your PRO photo lab can color correct just about anything from this film because it produces such excellent results.
