The base is of good quality; nice finish on it. All four casters lock if needed. Fits the PJ822HH perfectly. A little pricy but so is the PJ882HH. It functions as expected. If it matters to you just be aware there is very little clearance from the ground to the bottom of the base. Because of the low clearance the base will hang up on a slight "hill" as I have to my workshop entrance. No big deal.

I purchased this mobile base for my PJ882. This mobile base is extremly solid and well built. It is designed specifically for this tool and as expected fits perfectly. I have one major problem with the design. It has swivel wheels only on one side. This does not allow you to easily move the jointer forward or backward away from a wall. I need this capability so that I don't hit the tools to the left and right of the machine on the infeed and outfeed sides. To move the machine you have to work it back and forth which is very time consuming. I am working on getting additional wheels for the other side which would allow me to move it in and out of its NEST. I think one good wheel would work one the side making it have 3 wheels which would ensure that it sits flat. All in all a very high quality accessory that will allow you to pull the machine around your shop easily if you are pulling along the machines length.
