After trying samples of numerous halogen floods for my new home, I found this bulb to be superior to all others. It has a 60 degree wide beam. I have large rooms with 10' ceilings and other floods could not light up the entire room as well. No other bulb can match the 1,050 lumens and 60 degree wide beam of this bulb.

I have been frustrated with the light produced by my flood lights in my kitchen - clearly yellow and fading with age. Unnatural and ugly light. I corrected this for the daytime by putting in a Solotube. When the sun set, I had to turn on the lights and the welcoming light of my kitchen went away. Once I replaced the CFL's with these bulbs, the beauty of my kitchen returned.

The GE Edison is the very best that GE can produce. Once you have them you will understand the difference. In my case I need a socket extender to expose them correctly and eliminate premature, heet caused failure. I can only say, enjoy the light they provide and stock up before the ban on them kick's in.

This is by far the best incandescent/Halogen PAR30 long neck bulb made today! We have them throughout our townhouse. My wife could not believe the difference in the bathrooms and kitchen after installing these fine bulbs. They are 60 degree, so the light spreads very nicely. You can't beat the (1050) initial lumen output of this 75 watt bulb, the kitchen is like surgery lighting! If used in the kitchen, you should install a dimmer switch, which allows you too control the lumen output.

This is a great product. I bought this as a replacement for my previous GE lamp that lasted for 5 years. I hope this one does too.
