This book has a lot of content. A very thick book, pages full of tips and techs for the kitchen enthusiasts. For the price tag the book is worth the purchase.

I first found this book in the public library; I was absolutely amazed at the volume of information in this book! This book is a MUST HAVE for both the amature and professional cook - I have tons of cookbooks and how-to cookbooks but none have come close to being a 'help-mate' in the kitchen to me. The recipes are so-so (I didn't get it for the recipes but for the amazing helpful hints). I was so impressed with the book I bought an extra copy for a fellow chef.
