Any review of this product would have to be split into two parts. The first would have to analyze the quality of the filter contained in the cardboard frame and the second the cardboard frame containing the filter. With respect to the filter, it is quite good. It seems to pick up quite a bit of particulates that it is supposed to, as witnessed by the fact that after one month it comes out quite dirty. Hence 4-5 stars with respect to filter quality. With respect to the quality of the cardboard frame containing the filter, however, it is an altogether different story. The frame is built of cheap cardboard in a cheaply designed manner hence it is easy to bend out of shape quite easily. It may not be able to even get this thing to fit in properly unless your filter panel is a little bigger than the filter itself or if the filter holder itself involves even a slightly tight fit. Hence a perfectly good filter is ruined by a flimsy and poorly built cardboard filter. A little strengthening of the cardobard holder is all that is needed to remedy this problem (and would probably not add much to cost as could be done with only slight design modification).

I bought these 11 months ago at the beginning of last winter and I'm on again to buy some more. These are pretty decent filters at a good price. They got me through the year for $27 and thats not bad. I know this isn't a very comprehensive review but I think the fact that I'm coming back after a year says it all.

These filters are great!. The company packages them and ships them like they are glass. I received the item exactly when I was told I would. If you need excellent quality filters like we do here in the southwest (lots of fine dust) then I highly recommend this filter. They remove and install easily with clear directions on which way to insert. I hunted around in stores for these and could not find them. Now, with gas prices so high you can't afford to waste fuel and time finding the right filter. Here it is at your finger tips. Just click on buy...

good stuff just make sure you order the right size. beware that 24 x 24 x 1 comes in two sizes, (23.38 x 23.38 actual size vs. 23.75 x 23.75 actual size). I chose the smaller size I needed by mistake. I paid eight bucks in shipping to begin with, then it was 14.50 to send them back. Of course, UPS damaged the return (so I was told) thus reducing my credit by another ten bucks to 20 on 58 paid so far for nada. Meanwhile my allergies are killing me. Anyway, my point is don't ever try to order furnace filters online because it's easy without knowing the exact measurements you need to the millimeter. The filters-now company is legit as long as you call them direct and get er dun that way. They give you great southern hospitality style customer service and they make sure the order specifications are correct before confirming your order.

This order arrived exactly when I was told it would. The packaging was super and everything was individually wrapped. The quality of the shipping and packaging carries right into the filter. These filters remove fine dust, and we get lots of that here in the southwest. I ordered enough for 1 year and I will be back for more. My son orders his filters on-line from this company also now. Why go hunting around in some store when you will get exactly what you need from this company!

The whole process was very smooth. I read the reviews, found these to be a good value, ordered them, they came a few days later and I popped the first one in. It's working great!

Works as advertized. Easy to install, and provides the air purification one would want. Beware of filters with higher Merv ratings as they can cause some furnaces to strain to achieve proper air flow.

The overall quality of the filter is average to maybe a little above for a MERV 8. The real issue is the actual size of each filter. As stated by the manufacturer's specs, these filters are made or cut smaller than the normal size for each category. This is a real problem for many furnaces that take fitted filters in a bracket or tray. Without shimming around the sides of the filter, the air flows around - not through the filter. Air is like water and will take the path of least resistance. Unless you are sure an undersize filter will work in your furnace, do not buy this brand. It's kind of like orange juice and ice cream, maybe no one will notice if we reduce the size and charge the same price. I made the wood shim to seal the sides until I use up my supply but will go back to paying the higher price of the 3M next time.

We bought our house in 2007 only to find the furnaces use bizarre sized filters (16.25x21.25 and 20x21.25) that I couldn't find anywhere, not even a close fit. I tried the "lifetime" washable cut to size filters, but washing them out and then waiting for them to dry every month was a pain. I stumbled upon this company who has the largest selection of sizes I could find anywhere.

My first order was directly from the company, and I ordered the minimum amount to be sure the odd sizes fit- after some tweaks, we are now locked in on our odd sized filters, we've been using them for about 2 years now and I just ordered my filters for the next year.

They work, at least they are covered in dust and junk after about 2 months. I replace mine more frequently 1) to be sure my system is getting good airflow and not straining and 2) these look so nasty after 2 months, I'd had to see what collects in 3 months. And we don't even have pets! The company says they last 90 days, call me cautious.

I have an odd sized filter, and I cannot find replacements at local hardware stores. This product was just as described, shipped fast, and high quality. I will order again.
