Talk about a savings over local name brand filters!!! These are a higher merv level and half the price with the same construction. My choice from now on.

Why pay more for other brands?,

These seem fine. They are much less expensive than comparable products that you would find at home improvement stores. But my family doesn't have any severe allergies that would make it obvious whether or not these filters are as good as advertised, so the 5-star rating is giving the benefit of the doubt. But they are worth giving a try.
