This has proven to be a very durable trapeze. My boys love swinging on the bar. The two hand grips are well-used. We placed our trapeze on a swingset that is irrigated frequently. The trapeze has not rusted yet and has worked well.

We purchased this to go with a swing set we built the summer of 2008. The kids LOVED it but it only lasted one season. Earlier this summer, my 5 year old was swinging by the "rings" and the plastic broke. The plastic had become brittle and it just snapped right below where it attaches to the metal. I would write it off as a fluke, but the second ring snapped right off when I twisted it. Aside from being annoyed that it didn't last very long, it dumped my daughter on the ground pretty hard - I'd imagine it could be dangerous depending on how a child landed. I'm now looking into another - on that has plastic coated METAL rings!

I gave this to my granddaughter (5). She, her sister (8), and cousins (7,4) love it. It is very sturdy and well-made and is a great addition to their swing set. Good value.

This was exactly what I was looking for, for my children. They are having a good time swinging and getting exercise.

I was very happy to find a place to order replacement parts for a 35 year old swing set. I found the perfect item at
Amazon and I am 100% happy with it. All the children visiting my house have given the new Trapeze replacement a big okay.

My daughter picked it out. It arrived quickly, is very durable. But the handles are very hard (I think they're metal), so they hurt her hands more than the cushier plastic ones. She's been wearing her biking gloves on these, to soften them a bit. But she still loves them.
