yeah the soundtracks ok, but its missing one KEY song. spoon - the underdog is the song playing as zac efron is walking into the school with the leather jacket etc. its a great song and it played for like a minute in the movie so i thought for sure it would be on the cd, but its not. disappointed.

Song in the movie not on soundtrack,

Hi, I just saw this movie today, and I really like the song that is playing, when Zac Effron's character is walking into school after parking his fancy car. He is wearing a leather jacket, sunglasses and walking up the stairs...a song is playing in the background which is not on the CD soundtrack. It sounds like a 70's/80's rock song. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks!!

Fairly Good,

Some of the newer tracks are really catchy. Can't stop listening to Santigold, The Virgins and Cat Power. I could do without the old 80's tracks or rather have them on a different CD.

I saw the movie yesterday and I enjoyed. Very entertained and funny. So, today I've decided to listen the soundtrack. This is a good soundtrack, and there are some songs that I have attracted more, musically speaking, of course:
On My Own (Vincent Vincent and The Villians) Naive (The Kooks) This Is For Real (Motion City Soundtrack) Danger Zone (Kenny Loggins) It's a shame that the Rolfe Kent score is missing. Nor a simple track.
