Product Description

This musket was used extensively throughout the American Revolution. Stamped St. Etienne on the lock plate, this impressive piece measures over 72" with the bayonet attached. The length without the bayonet is approximately 55" . The musket has a working action. You pull back the hammer to cock it, and pulling the trigger releases the hammer. The bayonet does not lock into place.

It's a decent looking replica for a costume. The bayonet can be affixed to the barrel using the set screw. It will not pass as a real musket under close inspection, but for use in a play or as a costume prop it will do an excellent job. I'm pleased with it.
