The touch function to turn on the light only works marginally. Sometimes you have to shake the light to make the thing turn on. Next time I'll learn if it's cheap and there's no reviews, take a pass...

One of the two pack was broken already when it arrived with no sign of damage. The other doesn't work very well and isn't very responsive to being touched. The battery life is awful. They can only be on for about 6 hours total before they burn out any name brand batteries that I've tried.

This item was not what I expected. Its very sensitive and breaks easily when you push it in to turn it on. We have to shake it to get it to work and it sometimes cuts off by itself. Also, it exhaust battery life in one night if left on througout the night.

Lights work but batteries drain,

the lights work and came with batteries but the batteries only lasted about 30-45 minutes and when i went back to turn them on it died. when i replaced with new batteries it worked a lot longer but total lifetime was a few hours. After that the battery was dead and uses 4 AA. unless you plan to use them briefly over a period of time they may not be the ideal solution but they were cheap costing so you get what you pay for.

If your thinking about using this for a kids nightlight or a light to be on more than a minute or so, this is not what your looking for. I bought it thinking I could turn it on at night for on top of my hamters cage and it died within 2-3 minutes, I put in my batteries (not the cheap ones it comes with) and it lasted about 5 minutes. So I don't think its made for long term use maybe just for something like under the sink to find something real quick. Other that that it worked good, but not for very long.
