5.0 out of 5 stars Very stupid and very funny
The title says it all. This has to be the stupidest book I've ever read but also one of the funniest. I couldn't believe how stupid these things are, and I laughed my head off. As you might expect, this book is a great "bathroom book" as they're called. It's great to dip into for a few quick laughs. I gave it as a "grab-bag" gift this Christmas...

1.0 out of 5 stars Amusing at First....
The first 30 pages were pretty funny, some even make you laugh out loud, but after reading about three-quarters of it, I had enough. It began to seem redundant and boring. I wouldn't spend the money.Go out to lunch instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you need a good laugh just open this book to any page!, July 21, 2001

This book had the non-reader in my family happily reading and then reading aloud to the rest of us, relating the stories he was laughing about.

By the end of the day everyone in our family had heard or read every single page of the book!

If you need to tickle your funny bone or want to tickle the funny bone of someone else...this will do it. If you want to entice someone to read who says "I don't enjoy reading", they will enjoy reading this!

The book contains some stories that are not appropriate for children...probably would rate a PG13 if it were a movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Turth is definitely funnier than fiction, July 11, 1999

Extremely funny -- but it does make you wonder about the smarts of many people! These stories made us laugh very hard, but we couldn't help but wonder why people do such nuts things. The one thing we noticed: It's definitely not geographical. Apparently stupid stunts are an international phenomenon. (which made us feel better here in a major U.S. city!) All in all, a very funny read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Totally Funny!, June 25, 1999

Got this as a gift and didn't know what to expect...but wound up laughing my head off. These stories are killers and prove that truth is definitely stranger (and funnier)than fiction! I really enjoyed this and recommend it very much for anyone who needs a laugh.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious, October 13, 1998
By A Customer

A truly wonderful funny book -- totally enjoyed it. It made me laugh and was also very much enjoyed by my kids (with some censorship). Other peoples' stupidity is wonderful to read about -- makes my own seem not so dumb!

This review is from: The 176 Stupidest Things Ever Done (Paperback)
An amazing collection of ridiculous true stories -- that makes you wonder about the intelligence of some people. Better than I expected -- this kept me laughing for days -- and kept people in my office laughing too (these stories were too good not to share!).

4.0 out of 5 stars From the sublime to the ridiculous- it's all here, October 26, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The 176 Stupidest Things Ever Done (Paperback)
A superb find for anyone who enjoys a good laugh at other people's expense - that of course includes practically everyone! For those unacquainted with these authors' humor books, they are all great entertainment for dinner parties to sitting alone in your bathroom. They have solved our holiday gift problems perfectly in the past and this one is no exception. A good laugh and a great buy!
