I used Brio train tracks as a child, and many years later, the tracks are still in good shape! They are great fun to use, as you can construct many different tracks, and it has many different sets to add to the fun.

5 stars for fun, because the fun isn't limited to just this set. This is a good starter set of tracks, and all you need beyond this is an engine, and perhaps some cars.

I only gave this set 4 stars for education, because it isn't primarily an "education" toy, but it requires spacial understanding, in order to complete a track.

Definitely a fun toy for all boys and girls!

I look for toys that are fun and easy to use. I look for toys that encourage independence, creativity and exploration. If the toys are educational then that is even better. I want a toy that does more than make my child push a button. I want toys that are durable and will grow with my child. The train toys fit all of my expectations and then some.

This is an excellent addition to your railway toys! We bought a round track and this set and have been able to do many things with it. We have also added some short track additions and the next thing I'm adding is long track addition.

Railway toys encourage eye and hand motion, creativity, vocabulary, imagination and more. They are well worth every penny.
