This pattern was great. I've done most of my own patterning (especially for women's period clothing) in the last ten years so I was wary of purchasing a pattern after so long. But, I got it because I had a quick turn around and having never attempted a tailed frock coat before I didn't want to strain my brain so much to make it happen. Glad I got this!

This turned out to be very accurate, easy to adjust and had good, detailed instructions. It arrived very quickly to boot. I would have liked a bigger/wider collar, but now that i've made it once I know I can adjust that next time. As with most patterns, I would recommend measuring your man/woman against the drafted pattern as I did before you start cutting and adjusting but like I said, this didn't need much fitting after all.

Great addition to your period pattern collection! Don't hesitate on this one!
