Does Tamron AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 lens fit the Nikon D3100 14.2MP Digital SLR Camera?

The lens description should specify if it is for a Canon or Nikon. They are not interchangeable.

Yes. Just get the lens for Nikon and it will work just fine.

I believe it does - I use it on my D90, D7000

FYI - I have had to send it in for repairs twice now

You have to buy the one for Nikon. The problem with my order is that amazon made a mistake and sent the one for sony instead of the one for nikon that I ordered

All lenses are compatible if they have the Nikon mount. The Tamron 18-270 FOR NIKON will fit and it is a great performer and an extraordinary value. bj235

Yes. My daughter has the 3100 and when she went out to wesrtern US this past summer I let her borrow it and she got a lot of great pictures. For 1 lens to use for your camera at a good price the Tamron is great.

tamron makes a canon and nikon af 18-270mmf/3.5-6.3 lens. just ask for the nikon and you'll be fine

Hi,
I bought it for Nikon D90 and it fits correctly. I can't say for D3100, but i guess it should fit.
