If it weren't for the fact that I'm a product designer and that I can take a piece of crap and make it work, I would have been extremely dissapointed with this product and given it 1 star. It has a wood base that I can guarantee isn't stored properly as the facing is bubbling. It's a cheap wood too, and the way the blade is attached to it is improper, causing the paper not to cut straight. I actually did try to return this product at first, but it appears that english isn't customer service's primary language. They simply didn't understand what I was trying to say.

Luckily for me I make products for a living, so making this product work was an easy task.

The blade works really well, don't get me wrong and the alignment tool does as well, But to do so, you have to reattach both components to another table with precision. (And you have to know what you're doing because the blade is somewhat under tension.) So that's what I did, and now I have a paper cutter attached to my light table.

I highly recommend you purchase the one just like this but with the metal base, unless you plan on using this for its parts and scrapping the base. Don't waste your time on this with a wooden base. Just don't.

Fast shipping and good price. Does what I originally wanted to use it for; however, wooden base not as durable as expected. Appears to be pressed wood or partical board and not solid wood. Overall, it is a good product at a reasonable price.

The blade is nice but the wood base is not so nice. It is a very cheap wood and thin. I bought this as a gift and first when I opened the box I was not very impressed. I took it out of the shipping box and the product box was ripped. I looked a little more closely at it and the edge of the paper guide (it's like a veneer) was ripped a little. It seems as though they sent me a return. I would send it back but I'm not paying for the shipping or going through the trouble this close to Christmas. I definitely will not order through this company again. When I order something as "new", I expect it to be new. Not a ripped box or damaged, used, product. Product gets a B, because the wood could be better but the company (ATAFA) gets an F.

This is a great paper cutter! Will even cut cardstock, 5-6 sheets at a time. Our only disappointment was the finish on the cutter. The stain is blotchy on the edges. For the money, however, we can live with it! This was a great and much-needed purchase.

We've been using this in the office where we cut stuff every day. I love it. It's nice and sharp and the guide for setting the size of the paper really helps. I like the finger guard system, too. It's much more convenient than our old cutter. It's a perfect size, as well, for what we do in this office.

I bought this paper cutter and I like it so much. Now I can cut any paper I want. It is a much lower priced product, high quality, cuts perfect, and it is far superior to the smaller razor blade trimmers. Highly recommend!

Trimmer cuts pretty good, purchased this to cut programs for church. I thought it would have been a little heavier but hey it gets the job done. Great for cutting paper and card stock.

It's hard to rave about a paper cutter, this one seems to do the job. It handles oversized paper easily, and the fine gridlines are useful for an accurate cut. We haven't had it long enough to test it's durability. Time will tell!

This is my very first experience with a trimmer.it is a great product for anyone wanting to be able to cut with precision and avoid the $200+ price tags! This is a much lower priced product, and it is far superior to the smaller razor blade trimmers. lightweight and good use.

This cutter may be ideal for someone who works exclusively with metric dimensions, because English units (inches) appear only in the ruler across the top of the cutter. All grid lines are metric and all page size markings are European (A3, B4, etc.)
