I bought this as a gift for my son who collects nutcrackers. It is much fancier and more traditional than most nutcrackers sold in the US. It was pretty expensive which gave me pause. But it is well crafted and a terrific collectors item. I hope to buy him one of the Days of Christmas nutcrackers each year.
