Clad in clothes fit for a wealthy person of Dickens' time, Marley is also a ghostly reminder to be generous and kind, as he is laden with chains, a heavy box, and a bag of money as punishment for his greedy deeds in life. He visits Scrooge on Christmas Eve night to warn him that he will be visited by three other ghosts who will aim to change his heart. Like all of Steinbach's creations, Marley's Ghost is intricately crafted with the finest care and attention to detail.
