Item is basically as described and a good beginner martial arts weapon. I ordered this for my son and he loves it! A bit heavy as it is made of steel but that will help with speed and control if he ever switches to a lighter aluminum set for competition.

These sai are pretty good for starting out. I like everything about them. And fast shipping to. I got them within a week. These are my first pair and they are amazing!
