Convoy is a fun game when hauling goods all across America. The gas stations are cool, the weighstations are cool,as are the Hotels and the border check stations. The only problem is the game runs slow and choppy if the drivers in your computer are old or some of the driver updates are missing. Be sure to update your video card drivers before running this game.

I just bought this game and trust me.You should not waste your money.There were some problems with the game.First..When you get tired of it and you want to save it,you can't.You have to cancel you current job to save it.Second..the damaged is annoying.You don't hit anything,but the damage bar still moves and then your truck slows down and stops.Third..You don't have a good enough map.Fourth..The game is slow,but then again I might have to change around the game play.There might be more problems with it,but if you have it,you're figure them out.I gave it a star cause it was a little good.There were more places to go and it was a little fun.If you love trucking games,get the other titles,but not this one(unless you don't mind the problems and stuff).

if you like being frustrated, then this is the game for you!!! :( after installing, would not load. game patch site outdated, patch would not install. returned game. really bummed out and a total waste of money. packaging deserves a star!!!

My 9 year old son loves this computer game so much he'd play it 12 hours a day if I'd let him. It is hard to tear him away. He loves being able to "drive" different trucks! I like the fact that he is learnging where cities are around the U.S. and he is learning about money. He says,"Mom, I just made $5,000 for delivering a load!" I highly recommend it!

The game is exciting and fun for my special needs son. It's good eye hand coordination for him. He has the series and enjoys them all.

One thing I don't like is when your driving in the US and delivering something in Canada, when viewing the map your not able to move the map view to see where your drop off is untill you get into Canada than you have to zoom in on the map.....other than that I love the game

I would rate this one last on the collection. While the graphics are great, bridges, lit tunnels, and such, game play isn't fun and the dog truck makes starting out excruciating.

Get the 18 WOS American Long Haul instead!

When i first got the game i thought the game could do alot of stuff. I also have the older game 18 W.O.S. Petal to the Metal. That was a good game. Probably i would give it 4 stars. But in the Convoy game there are several issues i had: my computer has a Pentium 4 proccessor 2.2 Ghz, about 500 MB of RAM, an An Ati Radeon 9250 with 128 MB, and i have 25.00 GB of hard drive memory. Yea. the game still jerked!!!???!! O, and it really doesn't matter what kind of semi u have, the sterring doesn't really work if ur goin' over 50 mph. i tried to turn a 90 degree turn at about 40 mph. and it wouldn't turn!! I chuked a car and got damage. so i had to restart the game. And 1 more thing: On the box that the game came in, there is something there in the screneshots that don't really happen in the game!!!???!!!!!! So im trying to find a game patch and see if that works. So, if ur a kid out there and u want a game, take this one off your list. I paid 20 bucks for it and i should have paid $10. It wasa not what i thought at all.

Once you get updated drivers, And your video card setup right,Then its a 5 star in fun.

This game is really bad.. the graphics are just terrible. The gameplay is slow, and very very VERY choppy. I messed around with everything the best i could.. cleared my desktop.. yada yada yada and nothing helped. I'm sure it is a great game if it worked on your computer, but it probably takes up so much darn space and everything else that it is just too much for your computer and graphic/sound cards.. oh yeah my sound disappears as well. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, buy the first two.. they were GREAT! Also, I wouldnt buy any future hard truck/18 wheels of steel games.. they are just going to take more space. I'm actually quitting buying ALL computer games, cuz games now take up too much.
