Great product, perfect size, love the rubber base.

I was looking for a mug that would accept my Swiss Gold tea infuser. This mug fit the bill and 18 oz. is great for a morning beverage.

This one is a new design. The old design has a base with a lower center of gravity and a rubber gasket on the bottom that keeps it from tipping or sliding. The old design can bump along in my car every morning without spilling a drop of my tea. The old design has the angle of the base wider than the new, making it hard to knock over with a motion of the hand.

But now, dear reader, there is a higher center of gravity by about an inch, so splash goes my tea with a bump in the road. Then glug, glug, went my tea when I reached for something on the dashboard. And this design is higher, so it doesn't fit into car nooks as well as the others did.

The engineer who redesigned this should have his license taken away. Then he can start cleaning our car interiors.

Don't buy this. It's useless. Find some of the original design cups. Buy more than one- they are worth it. That's where I'm going when I finish writing this. I won't even care that the only colors left are an ugly green.

This mug holds plenty of coffee, won't tip over, and is built to last. The ceramic is very thick, so my guess is that it can take a fair amount of abuse. In general, I'm happy with it, with some minor reservations:

Because it is such heavy ceramic, it can cool the coffee. To keep the beverage hot, it's best to heat up the cup by pouring hot water in it first.

The interior of the cup has a crevice around the inside bottom edge that can be hard to clean. If the dregs of coffee dry in the cup, it's a bother to get the solids out.

The lid is plastic, and less durable than the mug.

I'm happy with the purchase. The cup's drawbacks are easy to accommodate.

Spillproof and microwaveable with no plastic - a great thing! What's not to like about this mug...nothing at all. Would definitely recommend it to others.
