This mug holds plenty of coffee, won't tip over, and is built to last. The ceramic is very thick, so my guess is that it can take a fair amount of abuse. In general, I'm happy with it, with some minor reservations:
Because it is such heavy ceramic, it can cool the coffee. To keep the beverage hot, it's best to heat up the cup by pouring hot water in it first.
The interior of the cup has a crevice around the inside bottom edge that can be hard to clean. If the dregs of coffee dry in the cup, it's a bother to get the solids out.
The lid is plastic, and less durable than the mug.
I'm happy with the purchase. The cup's drawbacks are easy to accommodate.
This is a great Stoneware coffee cup. The rubber ring on the bottom is removable so you can clean the cup easier. It keeps the coffee hotter than my usual cup. The plastic lid lets you keep the coffee hot longer. It would not keep the coffee from spilling, however, with the wide base it would be hard to tip over.
