Just wear rubber gloves and apply with your hands! It worked great on my exhaust manifold and my cat. converter.

4 stars, not 5:

Too watery! It's like rice-a-roni when you first take it off the stove, gloppy and runny. If you must apply this stuff in place, particularly a vertical or up-side down place, pour a shallow puddle down the length of the sticky side of a strip of masking tape, then stick the tape to the gap in your exhaust. After dried, it stuck to the metal, tape came off fine and worked first try!

If the makers of this would increase the viscosity to that of cold weld or peanut butter, I'd give it 5 stars

I tried this product to do what it claims, patch auto exhaust pipes. Worked for about a month after application to a small hole in my Tundra's exhaust system. Applied after sanding to bare metal and product applied according to instructions. Worked well for a few weeks and fell ofv after a month. Maybe not good in VT winters.

I bought extra cement, which it turns out was needed to cover the large area I needed to repair, in addition to two repair kits. It works, it's been holding for weeks, and I passed inspection. What else is ther to say ?

I'm sure this might be of good use for other things but I had bought this for my headers because there was a crack and it did not hold at all. 3 stars for the price
