These shoes are great. In terms of looks, I like the juxtaposition of the sweet and the edgy that sets these apart as far as most Mary Jane's are concerned. I was lucky to find them on sale at a Clarks store for $69, which was a steal since they are hand made and retail for more than double that! In terms of fit, I normally, I wear a 7.5 in closed shoes (although occasionally a 7) but because of the long square toe box in this style, I was able to wear a 7. The contour of the sole is great, because it allows your foot to ergonomically roll through each step much better than a flat sole would. Also, my foot is slightly narrow so, if you have a wider foot, I'm guessing this wouldn't be the best fit for you.
