I have a new home theater. The stand is modern glass and steel. The cable tangle totally ruined the neat appearance. This kit allowed me to tidy up the tangle and maintain the clean look of the new system/stand. Totally worth the $$

I purchased this kit primarily for the spiral wrap and the adhesive cable clips. I had plenty of plastic cable ties. The spiral wrap is excellent. The next of wired that visually dominated my desk is now gone. For that part of the kit alone, I'm glad I purchased it. However, I'm disappointed in the adhesive clips. I purchased these instead of the nail-in or screw-in cable clips so I wouldn't make holes in my desk or wall. However, the adhesive held for a few weeks and then gave way. They would not re-adhere. They just aren't strong enough to hold a printer cable in place which is how I tried to use them. In the future, I will buy screw based clips and live with the holes.

Its all plastic pieces. I only wanted the 4 wire clips when buying this. It offers better routing of any cable anywhere. The actual loom is pretty flimsy and would keep wires together, but looks real flimsy. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Also the wire ties are poorer quality, but it will still work for your general wire needs.

This item does not really serve any purpose. GE should provide more information on what cable management system is really used for (enough for a few cables for a computer and not much more). I would return this but it's not really worth the hassle. Recommend not wasting any money on it.
