When these arrived, I was very excited. Then I opened the box. The stitching was loose in numerous places on both boots, and when I looked at the pull tabs, the inside stitching on one of the pulls in the right boot was only caught in one line of stitching rather than two. As this is a stress point, there is a high likelihood that the pull will come unstitched. For the cost--and the Lucchese reputation--I was extremely disappointed at the quality. Also, the boots were MUCH darker than the images provided here and on every other web site at which I viewed them.

The good: These fit perfectly. As I expected, I had to tug hard to get my foot into the boot, but once in they cradled my feet beautifully. They were a perfect fit.

I was so disappointed with the quality control. And there isn't another pair in my size available. Still, I am sending them back. For this amount of money, I expected consistently high quality through all parts of this boot.

These boots are absolutely fabulous! I have waited for about 6 months to actually order these boots because of the price.
I would definitely say these are worth the price. I normally wear a size 8 shoe, and ordered the 8.5 wide (i don't like my boots tight). They fit perfectly and the "wide width" is not really that wide, just gives a little extra room in the calf area!
These are definitely "a vintage rustic" look, and I love them!
I wish I would have ordered them sooner!

These boots do indeed ship much darker than pictured but a little gentle work with the scrubber side of a damp kitchen sponge brings them to exactly the vibrant hues pictured. The fit is excellent and the last comfortable and supportive.
