This is a perfect album by one of the best blues singers ever. Texas Alexander did not play an instrument, so we have a chance to hear the magnificent Lonnie Johnson on guitar, Jazz legend King Oliver on cornet, Texas guitarists Little Hat Jones and Carl Davis. The final two songs have Texas accompanied by the Mississippi Sheiks -a great combination ! On top of all that there is Alexander's voice - one of the deepest voices in all blues. so, this is a must for all true blues lovers.
