I got this necklace for my mother for her birthday this year (2011), she 'can' be difficult to shop for because she likes pretty things but also wants them to be useful. She just received her necklace and called to tell me that she absolutely LOVES it and that the best thing was that she could use it to read fine print as well. SCORE! I've not seen it on her yet but getting a call from her while she's at work to tell me how pleased she was with it is a definite bonus. And if Mom is happy, then everyone is happy!
