As much as I've read about the UK during WWII - this shows, in a far more personal day to day basis, the difficulties, the rationing, fear of bombs, and yet - the determination & perserverance of those citizens & all they faced. They would not have considered themselves heros, but anyone viewing this might. Building their back yard bomb shelter, daily trips to the corner grocery, with less & less food available. Well done.
