5.0 out of 5 stars The Art of Nonsense, February 19, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: 1945 (Audio CD)
The first 14 titles are boogies,or I'd better say-Slim's renditions of boogie. My favourite track of these is the "Sighing Boogie".Who else but Slim would have got even the idea to such a number? Slim must have been fond of Jiddish food,as quite a number of songs indicate,"Dunkin' Bagel" for instance. This title alone is worth the price of this disc.I suppose,Monty Python fans with a sense for swing will enjoy these sides, too.
