jazz gillum played high-pitched very old-time harmonica but he used willie lacey on many of these recordings as a guitarist resulting in a handful of exciting jazzy solos and what is the earliest rock and roll track that i have heard (april 1947) "you got to run me down"......sure, "rocket 88" was the first rock and roll "hit" but this tune was recorded first........
