well recorded radio broadcast , excellent music, August 14, 2009

This early eighties CD release is a well recorded 1947 radio broadcast and is produced by the famous Wally Heider . Twelve selections, so a bit short but well worth it as Frankie sings really well and is close miked with the orchestra slightly in the background. There is an excellent version here of the standard " Rosetta " that I haven't heard Frankie do before . Any Frankie Laine fan that doesn't have this record should pick it up . This is my second "Uncollected" title from the Hindsight label and so far both have been good , the other is Artie Shaw Uncollected.
