His piano proficiency, vocal phrasings, and utter coolness all hark back to his jazz roots, even in his decidedly pop repertoire or arrangements. Whether singing "Nature Boy", jamming with guitarist Oscar Moore, or performing posthumous duets with his daughter Natalie Cole,… Read more in Amazon's Nat King Cole Store

5.0 out of 5 stars Takes me back, August 6, 2010

I play this and I'm 4 again- playing my little 78 of Ke Mo Ki(The Magic Song)on my little phonograph in my room looking out past the big old oak tree where our swing hung across the creek to the lighthouse on the point (Piney Point, MD to be exact). An amazing nostalgic trip- no one else seems to have heard of. It's fun to play for the ones who are too young to remember this great voice and playful little song. What a jewel to find on CD!
