My husband was thrilled with the quality of this die cast 1948 model Tucker Torpedo auto. He displays it in a prominent place in his office.
We were amazed at the weight and quality of the construction. Much nicer, heavier and prettier than I expected.
He said it was the best Christmas present he got this year. He is fascinated with the old Tucker. I also bought him several old issues of auto magazines with pictures and articles of this car from sellers of memorabilia. I also bought the DVD with Jeff Bridges about "Tucker."
He has a wonderful time reading about them and showing off his die cast model.
This item is not a toy for children. This is high quality.
Thank you Yat Ming for such good work.
Annie

Paint job looks like real clear coat, very sharp. Detail of engine, trunk, interior, are very good. I have this model in 1/24 scale by another company also and paid a great deal more for that model. However being honest I rate and like this model much better than the other. If you have room for a 1/18 scale model go for this one.
