I'm all about the many cheap European versions of early Bud Powell and others. Scout around and you'll find them here on this website. I like this series (even with its higher price tag) because it doesn't jerk you around. First the famous solo masters, then the un poco loco session. Finishes with the first trio session from 1953. Compare this disc with 'amazing volume 2' and 'jazz giant.' A nice companion to the even more inexpensive complete 1946-1949 masters import.
