The quality of the car is bad. The good side is that you have to put more effort as a modelist to clean out all the excess, dents, bad unions, etc. I just wish they would make it a little easier. Also I didn't like how the tires are joined to the chasis, making it look like a toy. The engine looks good, but the exhaust will require an expert to make it look good (not me :S). Also the same with the tires. I wouldn't buy this model again.

MPC's 1969 Dodge Charger general Lee kit has been available on and off since the Dukes of Hazard show was still on TV. The kit has changed a bit over the years, but this most current version has all the essentials to build a nice 1/25-scale model of the General Lee. It goes together easily and looks good finished. Model cement and hobby paints are not included, but required to build the model as shown in the photo.
